Conor Mcgregor is the new UFC Featherweight Champion of the world after an impressive victory over former champion Jose Aldo on Saturday night in las vegas. McGregor was waiting for this fight for way too long, he was told he would have his chance with Aldo back in J

anuary of this year when he beat Dennis Siver. The fight between the two was scheduled for july 11 2015 until Aldo controversially pulled out of the fight with a broken rib which meant Chad Mendez stepped in and faced Mcgregor for the "interim" Featherweight championship, also described as the "fake belt", but McGregor didnt let this fase him, he kept his head up and beat Chad Mendez and moved himself onto the real fight with Aldo when he recovered. Eventually the Aldo vs McGregor was rescheduled for the 12th December and things between the two began to get rather heated, insults being thrown at one another and McGregor continously mocking the brazillian in front of the public. As the fight drew closer it became clear that this was going to be an explosive fight and one of the biggest in recent years. The fight came around soon enough and two met in the

octagon for their match up. Conor Mcgregor has previously in interviews let it be known that he knows exactly how his fights are gonna turn out including what round, and how he is going to knock them out. McGregor said "If he makes that walk, and he is inside the Octagon, every single movement will get an overreaction from him. He's emotionally invested; there's too much in it for him. I feel him overreacting, overextending and then him be KO'd unconscious" which is alot to say about someone your about to fight and you would hope he could back it up as he has in recent times. Of course McGregor backed up what he had to say with an impressive 13 second KO in the very first round, as we all already knew McGregor can talk the talk but now we all know that he can walk the walk.

Here is the footage for the fight. (not that it lasted all that long)
